At DoomStop, we believe that your digital focus should never come at the cost of your personal privacy. Our commitment is simple: we do not collect, track, store, or transmit your data.

1. Personal Data and Browsing History

DoomStop does not collect any personal information (such as your name, email address, IP address, or account credentials). Furthermore, the extension does not track or record your browsing history, searches, keystrokes, or page interactions.

2. What We Monitor and How It is Used

To function as a browsing blocker, the extension monitors active status on specific domains (specifically twitter.com and x.com):

• Active Time Monitoring: We monitor active visibility of Twitter/X tabs in your browser. This is solely used to decrement your configured session duration timer.
• Tab Closure: When you click the close commands on the blocker card, we request browser focus to close the specific Twitter tabs.

This monitoring is completely self-contained within your browser. No domains, page URLs, or scrolling logs are ever saved or transmitted.

3. Local Storage Declaration

All configuration configurations (session length, break duration, current timer state, and activity logs) are stored directly inside your browser's sandboxed local storage (using chrome.storage.local).

This data remains sandboxed within Chrome. If you uninstall the extension, all saved configuration configurations and local data are immediately and permanently erased.

4. Web Store Review and Permissions

To execute this focus-driven time blocker, the extension requests the following permissions from your browser:

• storage: To save your session and break configuration durations locally.
• tabs: To perform focus queries and close active Twitter/X tabs when the block cycle is active.
• activeTab: To verify page visibility status and determine when you are actively browsing, preventing background idle ticking.

5. Third-Party Libraries and Web Calls

We do not load any external third-party libraries, tracking scripts, webhooks, or Google Analytics. The extension makes zero network requests under any circumstances.

6. Changes to this Policy

Because we do not compile your contact info, we cannot notify users of privacy updates. Any modifications to this policy will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the extension, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
